On May
27, 2001, there were several donor blood drives held in the
greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area (pictures at bottom).
Here are some photos from these events.
From just
one of these sites, over 347 people gave blood samples,
in hopes of finding a match for Emily Kim! In addition, contributions
were made, which will wholly go to the Emily Kim Fund.
Final figures are still being gathered from the other sites,
but will soon be reported here.
