The
Drive for Citizenship! A Sunday Afternoon Event...
CALLING ALL
KAC VOLUNTEERS! Now's the time to get involved in another
KAC-DC bilingual workshop! This is your chance to help
immigrants fill out the paperwork they need to become
naturalized U.S. citizens. Not only that, but we will
also help people register to vote, and fill out their
AR-11 change-of-address forms. Join us on Sunday, April
27, 2003, at New Covenant Fellowship Church in Germantown,
MD. at 12 p.m.
You need
not be an attorney, nor must you be trained in immigration
regulations. We will train volunteers as necessary.
Please arrive at 12 p.m. and meet other KAC members
for a fulfilling afternoon.
Naturalization
Workshop Details (Press

KAC-DC
will hold a Citizenship Drive (CD) on Sunday, April
27, 2003 at the New Covenant Fellowship Church
(see below for address and directions). The workshop
in-take will be occur between 1 pm and 4pm. Volunteers
will help eligible applicants fill out their N-400 naturalization
forms, voter registration forms, and AR-11 change-of-address
forms.
If
you would like to volunteer for this event, please contact
Hemi Kim. Volunteers
should arrive at 12 pm for a brief orientation. The
workshop will last until 4 pm. We will provide all KAC-DC
volunteers with pizza and soda. Knowledge of Korean
is helpful but not necessary. You need not be an immigration
expert - we will train volunteers as necessary.
When:
Sunday, April 27, 2003, 1 pm to 4pm
in-take. Volunteers, please arrive
at 12 pm, and expect to stay until 5 pm.
