Want
to do something to help Korean American immigrants in
the DC metro area? KAC-DC will be holding our first
Citizenship Drive of 2004 to encourage Korean Americans
to become U.S. citizens and registered voters.
The
purpose of this event is to help qualified legal permanent
residents complete their N-400 forms in order to become
US citizens. KAC-DC will need about 20 volunteers on
the day of the drive to help applicants fill out the
forms and to perform other administrative duties.
Voter
Registration forms will also be available for Virginia
residents who are U.S. citizens and who fit other eligibility
requirements.
Volunteers
will be on hand to assist eligible participants in completing
the form. Volunteers will assist eligible participants-
permanent residents, non-immigrants, and other foreign
nationals legally residing in the United States- in
filling out the required AR-11 / Change-of-Address notification
form.
We
will provide training on requirements and forms. If
you are interested in volunteering, please contact Ina
Jee, KAC-DC Administrator at admin@kacdc.org. We need
your help!
