KAC-DC Panel Discussion
Event on the Capitol Hill

- Korea Bilateral Relationship
The
panel discussion will take place on Wednesday, March
16, 2005 in Room 2203 of the Rayburn House Office
Building. The event will begin at 6:30pm with a reception,
and the panel will take place from 7:15pm to 8:00pm,
and a question and answer session from 8:00pm to 8:30pm.
The recent events on the Korean Peninsula have catapulted
the US-Korea bilateral relationship into the headlines.
With these recent events leading expert and policy
makers from both sides of the Pacific will share their
views. Topics may include:
- status
of the six-party talks;
- the
affects of War on Terrorism on the bilateral relationship;
- the
future and direction of the alliance of the two
nations;
- President
Bush's future visit to the Asia-Pacific Economic
Cooperation (APEC) Conference to be held in Korea
in November.
Invited guests include:Members of Congress, Department
of State officials, Diplomats from the Embassy of
the Republic of Korea.
