In celebration
of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, KAC-DC
will launch a panel discussion series on Wednesday,
May 25th on Capitol Hill. Current Congressional
Staffers will share their knowledge and experience
of working in both the House and Senate.
This
will be a great opportunity to be informed of policy-making
at the federal and local level and to ask questions
you may have regarding government work and current
affairs. Further topics to be addressed include
discussions of pending legislation and its impact
on the Korean American and the APIA communities,
the impact of APA Heritage Month, Congressional
staffing experiences, and a discussion of current
politics.
